Most patients should visit every six months for routine checkups and cleanings. However, some patients may need more frequent visits based on their individual oral health needs. We’ll recommend a schedule that’s right for you.
What should I do if I have a dental emergency?
Contact our office immediately. For severe emergencies like knocked-out teeth, uncontrolled bleeding, or facial trauma, call right away. For less urgent issues like a lost filling or mild toothache, we’ll schedule you as soon as possible.
Do you accept dental insurance?
Yes, we accept most major insurance plans. We’ll verify your benefits before treatment and provide a breakdown of what your insurance covers and any out-of-pocket costs. We also offer payment plans for patients without insurance.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, checks, all major credit cards, and offer financing options through third-party providers. We also work with FSA and HSA accounts. Payment is expected at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made.
At what age should my child have an orthodontic evaluation?
The American Association of Orthodontists recommends children have their first orthodontic evaluation by age 7. Early evaluation allows us to identify potential issues with jaw growth and emerging teeth.
How long will I need to wear braces?
Treatment time varies based on case complexity, but most patients wear braces for 12-24 months. Factors include severity of misalignment, your age, treatment compliance, and which type of braces you choose.
Will I need to wear a retainer after braces?
Yes, retainers are essential to maintain your results. Most patients wear retainers full-time for several months, then nightly indefinitely to preserve their smile and prevent teeth from shifting back.
