Straightening options

The main paths to a straighter smile. Your orthodontist will help you pick the right one at your consultation.
  • Braces

At Red Dirt Orthodontics Dr. Erickson provides braces to patients of all ages in Yukon and Oklahoma City! Here at Red Dirt Orthodontics, we offer a variety of treatments that are designed for patients of any age. Dr. Erickson uses the most up to date technology, one being the Damon System. Damon braces are designed to be discreet, comfortable and easy to clean. Your new smile can begin today!

  • Ceramic Braces

Ceramic braces are made of clear materials and are therefore less visible on your teeth than metal braces. For this reason, ceramic braces are used mainly on older teenagers and adult patients who have cosmetic concerns. While they are visually less prominent, they do require more attention to oral hygiene as ceramic braces are larger and are more brittle than their metal counterparts. For these reasons, ceramic braces tend to be used more on upper front teeth than on lower teeth. Let Dr. Erickson and his team help you decide which braces are right for you.

  • Clear Braces

At Red Dirt Orthodontics, Dr. Erickson provides clear braces to patients of all ages in Yukon and Oklahoma City! When it comes to this form of treatment, Dr. Erickson offers an opportunity to straighten teeth while raising your confidence level in daily life.

  • INBRACE

  • Invisalign & Spark

Red Dirt Orthodontics is proud to provide their patients in Oklahoma City and Yukon with Invisalign and Spark clear aligners. Invisalign and Spark are our options for a series of clear, removable aligners that are used as an alternative to traditional metal braces. The aligners are worn for around two weeks and then changed with a new set. As an orthodontist, Dr. Erickson loves them because there are so many advantages that come with wearing Invisalign and Spark!

  • Invisalign Teen

Red Dirt Orthodontics is proud to provide teens in Oklahoma City and Yukon Invisalign and Spark aligners for Teens! Invisalign and Spark aligners for teens are a series of clear, removable aligners that are used as an alternative to traditional metal braces. Each set is slightly modified to move your teeth into their new positions!

  • Metal Braces

Traditional braces are the most common type of braces and are more comfortable today than ever before. Made of high-grade stainless steel, metal braces straighten your teeth using metal brackets and archwires. With metal braces, you have the option of adding colored elastics (rubber bands) for a more unique and colorful smile. Ask Dr. Erickson how traditional braces can give you the smile you’ve always dreamed of.

  • Two-Phase Orthodontic Treatment

The American Association of Orthodontics recommends, and we at Red Dirt Orthodontics agree, that children should be seen by an orthodontist at the age of 7. Why? Phase I treatment is to help the jaw develop in a way that will accommodate all of the permanent teeth and improve the way the upper and lower jaws fit together. With young patients there is a possibility that Dr. Erickson could detect issues with tooth and jaw development that could get worse if left untreated!

    • Clear Braces

The ultimate goal of dental care providers is to retain each patient’s dentition for life.

    • Braces

    • Two-Phase Orthodontic Treatment

Orthodontic specialists recommend that all kids have an examination by age 7, so that — if necessary — interceptive treatment, growth modification, Phase I, or traditional braces can be started.
